Just like everyone, majority of us couldn’t sleep the night before as we were over excited for the trip as it is actually impact a part of our lives. Travelling with friends and teachers without parent is not just only any common overseas trip. Mixture of feelings, fears, nervous and excited were felt as we stepped in Departure hall bidding goodbye to our family members. That is the moment where we had to be independent. We are sure that this trip is the first time for everyone to expose going overseas independently. Soon as we boarded airplane, we could not deny how jovial and excited expression seen on our faces. We had our short nap and meal as we headed to Bangkok to transit to China, Kunming.

-Henry:

 When we reached at Bangkok Airport, we found out that we were late for the plane to Kunming. It was already a Last call whereby all the passengers were waiting for us fly. They provided us a shuttle bus for us to reach to Thai Airways.

Munee:

   When I boarded the Thai Airways, I feel very excited because of the country, Kunming. I wondered how the city looks like. After we reached Kunming Airport, while lining up at the immigration counter, there was this man who asked a woman in front of us where was she from. Not only that he compliment the women and kissed her, she hugged back even though they are total strangers. When we got back our luggage and headed to the entrance of the airport, the principal and teachers of Anning Middle School warmly welcomed us and gave us a rose each. The traffic at Kunming is very different from Singapore, 

Shawn:

For day 1, I was a bit disappointed, as on the schedule, it says that we are going SHOPPING, end up we did not buy anything. Because we reached the Kunming airport late so it had delayed our whole schedule. NO SHOPPING :(

E.Purani:

For Day 1, the dinner was beyond my expectations. We had a wonderful dinner. We had Fried Chicken, Roasted Duck, 2 vegetable dishes, an appetising vegetable soup, and lastly a few beef dishes. As I realised everyone enjoyed the beef food a lot. I really enjoyed myself today.
